Education + Resources
We support knowledge-building and resource-sharing through community conversations, educational workshops and resource distributions.
LA Más works to improve residents’ access to the information, resources and services that support their housing stability, economic security and overall well-being. By increasing education and awareness, organizing residents, and engaging in advocacy, we work to not only build residents’ capacity but also community power.
Examples of this work include facilitating conversations and workshops to support residents’ understanding of housing rights, policies and processes in the City of LA; hosting a weekly produce pickup where we also connect residents to resources such as employment opportunities and government programs; and redistributing funding to families and grassroots organizations.
