We’re shutting down the street for our biggest ever Somos NELA on April 17th!

Join us for our longest and biggest Somos NELA of spring! Somos NELA is a family-friendly, and community-centered market that uplifts local artisans, working class families, people of color, and small businesses in NELA. Expect Más everything! Whether it’s delicious food or live music you look for on your Friday night, Somos NELA Block Party will be the perfect spot for you and your friends and family.

Why Somos NELA?

With the rich cultural history of Northeast LA and the skills of our neighbors, our community saw an opportunity to create a new cultural hub — one where working class vendors aren’t hampered by the rising costs of rent or fees and an inclusive third space is restored.

Somos NELA is a bimonthly night market (1st and 3rd Fridays from 6-9PM - check out our schedule) where you can support local vendors, build community and celebrate shared abundance. What’s our goal? To generate $3K in vendor sales each week while fostering connections, enjoying cultural performances and sharing resources through partner activities and tabling. To achieve this, we need our allies to show up weekly and continue investing in our local vendors.

Come & enjoy a market, reserve a spot at Somos NELA for your next birthday party or social shindig, or utilize our vendor directory if you can’t make it on Fridays. Together, we can create lasting economic value for our residents and help our community thrive.
